5th Grade...
As we get closer to the end of the school year, the 5th grade artwork continues to get better and better! Look out Irma Marsh, you've got some artists headed your way next year.
We are currently working on self portraits with a little twist. We used the Age Booth app to change our pictures from 11 year olds to 80 year olds! Here's Mrs. Lamb's:

We just finished our Picasso portraits using oil pastels. The students did a wonderful job using their portrait checklist and abstract thinking. Here is an example from one of our 3rd Grade students:

We are putting the elements of art together to great complete compositions! After reading I Need My Monster on Storyline Online, we create our own monsters from our imaginations using line, shape, texture, color, value, space, and form.
